My pathway into UX and digital design started with a mix of creativity, my love for technology, and a mix of psychology. I wanted to understand users and individuals and how they processed information when consuming content online or through products and systems. Originally, I was a nursing major, but after taking web technologies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, I quickly fell in love with web design. It allowed me to find something I enjoyed while also understanding better how design and technology can shape how people experience information, services, products, and brands.
I earned my B.A. in Web Design & Development from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and am currently pursuing my M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction at Indiana University. Through that work, I’ve become especially interested in UX research, accessibility, usability, and designing experiences that are grounded in real user needs.
I am eager to learn and incorporate my studies into real-world cases and problems. I strive to do the best work I can when I am given a task. My work ethic is a testament to how much I care when designing or completing a job that I have been asked to do. When given a chance or opportunity, I always do things according to the rules and what I have learned through both my job experience and the real world.
My background in the service industry, healthcare, and customer-facing roles has helped me build strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills. I enjoy listening to people, identifying pain points, and turning insights into thoughtful digital experiences that are clear, useful, and human.
